Postcards

Num mundo em que os avanços tecnológicos aproximam povos, instituições, o estudo de uma língua estrangeira moderna torna-se fundamental. Considerando que vão aumentar as possibilidades de os alunos das escolas públicas entrarem em rede (Internet), haverá também interesse pessoal no aprendizado de LE. Proposta Curricular de Santa Catarina (LE).

Uma língua estrangeira, e neste momento histórico particularmente o Inglês, dá acesso à ciência e à tecnologia moderna, à comunicação intercultural, ao mundo dos negócios e a outros modos de se conceber a vida humana. Uma primeira tentativa de aproximá-los da língua estrangeira é fazer que se conscientizem da grande quantidade de línguas que os rodeia, em forma de publicações comerciais, de pôsteres, nas vitrinas das lojas, em canções no cinema, em todo lugar.

Um dos principais objetivos das aulas de Língua Inglesa é mostrar ao aluno que, por intermédio do idioma Inglês, o indivíduo pode se projetar no mundo e ter acesso ao conhecimento em vários níveis, tornando-se assim um verdadeiro “cidadão do mundo”.

Objetivos do trabalho com os postcards:

- Criar oportunidades para o aluno desenvolver a habilidade da escrita;

- Promover a interação e a troca do postcards e de idéias entre alunos de escolas diferentes através da Internet;

- Estimular o aluno a conhecer outros lugares e bairros de sua cidade, ensinando-os a valorizar a cidade em que mora.

Estratégias:

- Orientar o aluno na execução das atividades;

- Esclarecer dúvidas e a pesquisa a ser feita.
